Mr. Vincent H S Lo, Chairman and Chief Executive of the Shui On Group, founded his company in Hong Kong in 1971. Through the years, he has built Shui On from a small construction company into a diversified group engaged in construction and contracting, construction materials, property development and investment with interests in Hong Kong, the Chinese Mainland and North America. In addition to his business capacity, Mr. Lo is also actively involved in community services. He is the member of the Ninth National Committee of Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, the President of Business and Professionals Federation of Hong Kong, the President of Shanghai-Hong Kong Council for the Promotion and Development of Yangtze, Chairman of the Council of The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Director of Great Eagle Holdings Ltd., Non-Executive Director of Hang Seng Bank Ltd., Non-Executive Director of New World China Land Limited, member of Hong Kong/United States Economic Co-operation Committee, Director of the Real Estate Developers Association of Hong Kong, advisor of China Society of Macroeconomics, advisor of Peking University China Centre for Economic Research, council member of China Overseas Friendship Association. Mr. Lo was awarded the Gold Bauhinia Star in 1998 and appointed Justice of the Peace in 1999 by the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
